<a href="#comment-2607" rel="nofollow">@Sasha</a>
It sounds like you've been really badly affected by your last breakup. If you've been happy before there is no reason you can't be happy again, no matter how it may seem now! It sounds like you need some help, so I suggest you speak to your doctor or some other health professional. Perhaps some sort of counselling would help you?

Before I decided I wanted to have a romantic experience with a person I loved I was pretty much the happiest man alive. 5 Years after our seperationg the wounds keep digging deeper. Nothing that is temporary in life not even life itself is worth living if it's only temporary. It steals the whole purpose of happiness. The things that hurt me the most now are the things that are beautiful and the memories that were temporary. I'm interested in what is eternel and thus real. Thoses that wish to live in a world that operates like this one are welcome. I'll meet you where nothing changes and everything is possible when you'll be sick of it.

P.S: Sorry for the negatisme to the people that remain positive. I wish you all the happiness in the world

This is great Julian, I love it. Not many people think of impermanence when things are going their way. Most people want or expect the good times to last forever, which is unrealistic.

You set yourself up for much less disappointment if you try to not become really attatched to physical things, ideas, dreams or plans for the future. Enjoy what you have in the moment but realize that eventually it will come to an end. If you can transition to this way of thinking it's much easier to accept when the good times pass, the items break or things don't go according to plan.

So yes I do think it's "Better To Have Loved And Lost Than Never To Have Loved At All" :) Great post.
