"Brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the
people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people." from Randy Pausch's Last Lecture.

That's such a great outlook. You don't have to feel bad if you choose to "give up" -- you can look at it as making a decision that something's just not worth it. Conversely, if you want something really badly then don't crumble when you hit those brick walls. It's all up to you.

How badly we want it is a key question not only to ask ourselves, but to also meditate on.
