Motivation is not a physical, tangible thing

It isn’t something someone can give you.

It isn’t something you can buy or sell.

All another person can do is show you where it is inside you.

They may be able to point it out to you in a way you hadn’t seen before.

But once they’ve pointed it out, it’s up to you to remember where it is.

Seize your day!

“They may be able to point it out to you in a way you hadn’t seen before.”

    Yeah. I like this piece.

If you haven’t read the book, “Awaken the Giant Within” by Anthony Robbins, I highly recommend it. This book changed my whole outlook on motivation and how to get more of it.

@Bamboo Forest – PunIntended Yeah that book is well worth a read. I’m reading Norman Vincent Peale’s The Power of Positive Thinking at the mo which is an oldie but a goodie. He’s quite a religious bloke so it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it has some very sound advice and the title is very apt. A quote from it I read today that I liked is: “People are defeated in life not because of lack of ability, but for lack of wholeheartedness”.
